You can stay in fantastic kitted out geodesic domes set in the wonderful Yorkshire countryside with all the mod cons of a hotel room that you could wish for.
Just some of the glamping perks include a private en suite bathroom, kitchenette, super king size beds, wood burning stove and Sonos streamed music.
And if all of that wasn’t enough you can even take part in Alpaca walking tours on the farm and enjoy the on site cafe and licensed bar during your stay.
If all that wasn’t enough to convince you to go and stay the campsite also has scores of excellent reviews on Tripadvisor and it has been ranked as number one for speciality lodgings in Malton.
Those who have stayed there have even called it a “slice of heaven”.
A description from owners The Private Hill on Tripadvisor reads: “Set on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, with views for over 60 miles across the Vale of York, The Private Hill is an award winning ultra luxury, boutique, Glamping destination where hotel standards of comfort come together with nature.
“Four fully furnished gorgeous geodesic domes are equipped to the highest standards of comfort and cool.
“The interiors are simply divine with private ensuite shower rooms (including flushing toilet and hot running water), a kitchenette complete with Miele microwave.
“Sonos streamed music, along with super king-size beds (or large twins) all finished with the comfiest of Egyptian cotton bedding.
“A wood burning stove, oil filled radiator, and polar insulation will keep you warm and cosy whilst you enjoy the views even in the depths of winter.
“A private fire pit will ensure that your private outdoor space is used to the full. “Along with exceptional drinks of course! All are also available as part of the Room Service Experience.”
And it seems that those people who have stayed there completely agree with the five star rating that the site has received from TripAdvisor.
One reviewer said: “No review we wrote could do this slice of heaven justice! Every element is total perfection!
“Thank you to Roddy and Jane for their warmth and hospitality before during and after our stay, you are wonderful!
“We stayed last year the weekend the very first Lockdown hit & knew then this would be the first place we would stay on the other side of all this pandemic madness…& the wait did not disappoint.”
Another review agreed that it was a fantastic place to visit.
It said: “What an utterly fantastic place. Everyone should visit Jane and Roddy at the Private Hill, they are the most considerate, selfless people I have ever met – as were all the staff on site. As soon as we said we liked anything someone was there to make it happen.
“You can chill out, find out about all the conservation work, look out for the curlews, or have a beer in Jane’s Dome. Best bits for us – walking the Alpacas and looking round the farm at all the animals. If you get time have a chat to Roddy, he is such an interesting man.
“Now on to the food – absolutely delicious is an understatement. From the platters to the steaks to breakfasts – all were exceptional.
“We wish we had stayed longer but had only booked two days. As soon as we got home we rebooked.
“If you enjoy being spoiled you must go. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone.”
